Almost Over

Duck season is almost over, and I got a prettty good tan this year!

Sorry for no posts for a while, we have been spending alot of time in the Marshes, swamps and sounds of Virginia and North Carolina.

That's Right, Duck Season.

It has been an ok year despite the tropical weather!

Tommorow is the last day of NC Duck season and we have fishing trips starting next Saturday and Hopefully the Bluefins will be waiting for us!

Anyway, we have been doing some of our annual maintainence on the Bite Me in between Duck Hunting and will be doing a hopefully quick haul out to paint the bottom and replace the zincs etc.

Anyway, here is a pictoral review of the season.





















Going to hunt tommorow to wrap up the season. It was a pretty good season.

Those are totally awesome pics. The dog pics are incredible. I'm not a duck hunter but I love dogs. I am afraid to go, I have heard it is very addictive and I already have more hobbies than I have time and money. THANKS for taking us along.

Sound's like Weekender and I are cut from the same stick. I have never shot at a duck myself and those dog pic's are great. The one with your Brittney peeking out of the blind and the lab snoozing oughta be framed! I've alway's had dog's and would be lost without them. I'll be giving you a shout on the phone here soon. I'm liking those Redhead decoys--- looks like foamers?????. Pretty work on a slow season for most of us.

Scrapped together a decent season despite the excellent suntanning weather.

the redheads are hearters blackheads repainted, yes, foam and armored.

The curtain box was a learning exprience, should do better next year!
