Advice Needed - Hog Hunt
6 of us are driving from VA for a hog hunt in Feb or March 2012. We want to stand hunt and run dogs as well. We have been looking at SC and Georgia. FL and TX is a little too far to drive.
Anyone of any recommendations for guides with lodging? Which outfitters have you used? The good? The bad?
I have heard good things about Dorsey's Trophy Hunters Lodge in SC? Anyone have any insight?
My buddies and I like to enjoy a few cold ones after a days hunt and we want to make sure the hunt that we book that this wouldn't be a problem.
Thanks in advance.

If you were to stretch it to Florida theres a slew of places down here. Canned, free range, fancy, simple, buggies, stalk, walk, sit, dogs, no dogs, knife, gun, bow, spear, you name it...

Thanks for the info. I've got 2 or 3 outfits I'm in talks with that are located in GA.

Stop staring at my Avatar.
We have gone to Cypress Creek Hunting Lodge in Estil, SC
Only stand hunting... No dogs
They were talking about starting night hunting though since the hogs are getting out of control...
