The SEASON is almost here. only 9 DAYS.. I did a little SCOUTING on my way fishing and I found 4 BUCKS and 3 DOES in a COTTON FIELD at 12:30 in the afternoon. I did not even have to slow the TRUCK down to see the RACKS on them boys. They were HUGE.... I guess they will catch HELL on opening day. Coming home at 7 pm I saw more BUCKS in SHANNONS PEN than I could count. 25 or more maybe and maybe that many DOES. I sure would like to get my SCREAMIN DEAMONS in there for an afternoon. They might would O.D. on DEER. That is a thought, run them selves to death... Bet they sure would have a good time.

Just wondering, what do people here think of those HIGH FENCED DEER HUNTS? I don't think they should be able to sell them, myself. I don't see the difference in them selling a hunt and a processor selling one not picked up. Looks kinda easy, kinda like shooting fish in a barrel. They got to be about tame, all they know is that 1,800 acres. They get fed, and stand near the fence, they don't run when you drive up. kinda like my goats in the pasture... They associate people with food.
