340$ in 4 hours of work

Well jut got back from checking the traps. We ended up with 34 with 1 damaged and alot of set offs with no rats and knock downs with no rats. Not bad for one day, will be at it again tomorrow should be around the same if not more.

Have a few pictures but need food and something warm to drink first.

Oh yea and a picture of what not to do with a trap in your hand. Dad thought it was funny though

Love ya John but speak English to us southern boys, at least this one. Rats, set offs, damaged?

In any language, that's a helluva day!

    Guess I need pictures.

Sorry lou i'll make it easier for you

set off- when a rat swims through fast and the trap doesn't close fast enough. Or when a twig or something trigger the trap

Knock down- When a rat hits the top of the trap due to an enlarged hole or makes its way around the side of the trap and hole.

    Rat- Muskrat

damaged- when a rat is in heat it will bite another rat causing the fur to have a small tare in it. Or when a bank rat or hawk or raccoon or fox finds it in the trap they will eat the head and leave the body. You can usually save the fur on some and get 2$ for them .

I'm trying to figure out this damn digital camera and program. It might take me alittle. I don't see why if you have a program for the camera then why have to dowload all kinds of other shit

You will see if I don't shoot this damn camera first. The one I always use is on the boat in capemay so i'm stuck with this other one.

Tomorrow will be in the field shots with knock down traps set offs and showing the runs. Maybe even a few action shots of rats in the traps. Lets hope my hand doesn't get snap shut in the trap again

John, don't know squat about Rats but does your camera have an SD card or are the pics on the camera internal memory?

Man I knew what you were saying fotunately I haven't been trapping for a number of years. If it weren't for my time spent searching creeks I'd miss the marsh that mud gets in your blood!

johnseafood, if your camera has an USB cord, plug it into your computer and camera, turn the camera on and you should see a new "drive" in your computer (click "My Computer" to see the drives)
There you'll find the pictures. Copy them to your computer.

I don't know if this would work with cameras that have internal memory only.
