2010 Grand American Coon Hunt

It is that time again. There was a good turn out today got the kick off of the 2010 Grand American Coon Hunt. Good food, fine fellowship and worship service, lots of door prizes and 10000000 dogs... This is a place where people come from all over the east coast to hunt and show their coon dogs. As we were leaving the festivities David Cooler was fixing to take the stage. Tomorrow and Saturday will feature a Bench show, Treeing contest and a night hunt. Good Luck to everyone in the hunt, and I hope the weather works in your favor. Everyone have a safe hunt, and I look forward to seeing the casts come in with great stories.

Brings back memories! Attended it a few times with a buddy of mine who lives and breathes Coon Huntin. I remember it was long sleepless nights and even longer sleepless days in between. Had it in Orangeburg back then, is that still where they hold it?
