12/22 Ducks and...

Started today a little late and began hunting...I mean shooting at 8am. Limited on ducks by 10:30 and decided to wait on geese that afternoon. Tons of geese but none close enough to shoot, god it was frustrating. 2 minutes before shooting time we had a group of swans come over, but high. With 2 10 gauges in tow we decided to go for the high passing shot and sure enough the rear swan fell. Overall a great way to spend a saturday.

damn you guys are lucky,we hunt ducks and geese in the desert,about 20 miles south of Palmsprings.Had a OK shoot this morning for 17 birds for 3 shooters.Low quality today,mostly teal and spoonies.Limit for us is one pintail,7 total.Tom
