10-30-10 Hampton County, SC

Was a beautiful morning in the Low Country of SC on 10-30-2010! First cool snap that we have had, it was 44 degrees when this ole boy stepped out at 200yrds heading into the cotton field to bed down for the day. Saw this buck 3 times last year and picked up his left antler in March in the same field I shot him in. Returned that after noon to a different stand location with my 4 year old and saw another decent buck that will be a stud next year if he makes it. All in all a great day in God's Country! They are moving pretty good in SC right now!

Thanks ya'll! I was very please with him. I didn’t take too long to size him up and was a little nervous about the ground shrinkage effect...

Followed him up with a little bow hunting doe management last night. Got a little greedy and took the whole family...
