It's been a few years since the "Balcrowns" flew in good #s on the ES. Nice hunt.

ponds/sloughs in the bottomlands of a major river...well inland, flooded timber. we kill wigeon at other places, but the birds really prefer this spot for whatever reason. it really is a special hole.

You will never forget hunts like that.

I thought I was going to have a day like that yesterday. But after limiting out with black ducks in 15 min. It was a long boring day wating for something different to come in.
