    hey i have a a penn 50 with a custom rod i want a bent butt 50 setup any suggestions on rods and reels thought about the avet 50

    I love the tiagras for tuna on a good rod; perfect for jigging. I also like the avets but I prefer the smaller avet reels to the bigger ones.

    thanks anngler the avet 50 has got a lot of power and are much cheaper then the tiagras

    nothing agaisnt avets they are great reels and they do have a lot of power but they dont have the line capacity that the tiagra 50LRSA (WIDE)

    Any and every fish.
    Try a tiagra wide. Not only are they light then the International II, they are said to have better working gears.
