Tuna for My Birthday!

For my birthday, my dad took our friend Bruce and I out for some tuna action. We left the dock at around 5:00 and we were fishing by 7:30. We started the day just outside the 19 fathom lump and then made our way inward. We chunked up one 47 inch bluefin and then decided to troll out to the elephants trunk. We trolled out and part of the way in with no action. My dad made the call to run back in to the 19 fathom lump and set up and troll there for an hour or so. So we made the run. We trolled around for a while, but with no luck, we decided to run home.

It wasn't a great day, but I got to fish with two great people on my birthday! What more can you ask for?

I didn't take any pictures, but I know Lauren at the marina took some, so hopefully someone will post those!

We have a 25' Open Contender with twin yami 250s. We love it and it runs so well.

You and your Dad are welcome to come down and fish with us Rednecks whenever you guys want,I know I could learn something from this FISHING TEAM!!
