    Happy Birthday Ann!

I'm glad you and your Dad (Matt) and you little brother Sid had a great time! I thoroughly enjoyed watching Sidney bother Timmy the whole day!

I talked to Buddy today and he and Rodney had a great time and they both are ready to go again!

Anyway, I'm looking forward to seeing all the pictures you took!

    Finally............ the report!

Sorry it took so long, but here it is:

    Wednesday July 25th:

Up bright and early at around 3:30, left the dock at 4:30, and fishing by 6. My dad, Buddy, Rodney, Paul, Sydney and I took a charter with Capt. Timmy on the Clean Sweep and had a blast. Before we could even untie from the dock, Sydney had found lots of ways to "bug" Timmy. We started out trying for some tuna behind a scallop boat. After a few minutes with no luck, we decided to run out and try for some tile. We arrived at the tile grounds by 8:30, and we had several nice fish in the boat after just a few drifts. Then the bite started to slow down. Deciding to move to a different spot, Capt. Timmy put us on the bite once again. A few drifts after we made our move, Buddy hooked into a nice fish. "Is it Bubba?" Sydeney asked. Well, after about 15 minutes of a good fight, the rig broke and the fish was gone. Not to long after that, Buddy hooked into yet another nice fish. Meanwhile, all of us were bringing in nice sized goldens, with the ocassional blueline grey. Rodney caught a nice 12 lb. blueline. Buddy finally brought his fish to the boat, after a nice fight, and it weighed out at 46 lbs. Congrats on an awesome fish. I think he set a new personal best! A few drifts later, we decided to stop trying for the tiles. We finished out the day by running back in to try one more scallop boat. With no luck there, we called it a day and ran for home.

I had so much fun that day. Everyone was a pleasure to fish with and I can't wait to fish with all of you again! Thanks for an awesome day on the water!

Nice job. Thats a nice size tile. I wish I could convince my dad to go tile fishing but he has this thing about fishing that deep water. I really don't get him he'll fish like 390 for cod but won't go another 200 feet deeper for tiles which fight and taste better than cod.

To each his own I guess. It does get tiring after reeling up 500-600 feet of line about 100 times, but when you get a fish, that 600 feet is so worth it!

My point exactly but one could say the same for cod too. I bet if he catches one he will change his perspective on that. Also maybe give him one of those wreck fish which from what I hear they aren't called that just because they live in wrecks its also what they do to the angler when bringing them up. I'd love to get one of those they seem like a lot of fun and well worth it.
