Went out the past two days and today with some decent action. The first day we caught three blackfin with two keepers. Yesterday we fougt a huge dolphin all the way to the side of the boat. The gaff bounced off its head and it dove deep. The line wrapped around the rod tip and it broke. Everyone was really disappointed seeing as that it was our only fish of the day. Today we went and fished a reef with some good action. We got one gray triggerfish early. Once we made a move we caught some small grouper, a small reef fish, and a moray eel. Overall it's been good fishing. Tomorrow we might be going sailfishing!

    Mary,
The boat is running very well and we haven't had any problems so far. I love it!!!!!

We had a horrible thunderstorm and torential downpour last night. The wind is blowing pretty hard and my dad and I decided to wait it out and maybe go tomorrow. Looking forward to getting out there again.

We did end up going out on the 12th, my dad's birthday, and it didn't go very well. After a few hours of fishless time, we started to head home, in the the worst conditions I've ever seen. Have to go now, but I'll finish posting later.

So about our wonderful day of fishing. While we were cleaning up and bringing in the lines, we saw some nasty clouds rolling in and filling up the radar. It was worse than we thought. It was literally like entering a whole new world. Cross this line and enter Stormtopia. It wasn't so much the waves and chop, but the winds and rain were horrible. My legs were covered in welts from the rain hitting them so hard and I was soaked to the bone. My little brother, Sydney (6 years old), and our friends Tyler and Paul came along, too. Through winds and downpour, thunder and lightning, we all made it home safe. What a birthday present for my dad!

Got in last night just before the weater started to get nasty. It's good to be home. Besided being allergic to the suns rays and chipping my 2 front teeth, the trip was good!

THANKS, I'm going to the dentist tomorrow. I might have to get a root canal, according to one of the women who was on vacation w/us.
