Spencer and Wilmington 9/13

I know it's a little late, but I've been so busy lately.

On Thursday, my dad, Buddy, and I ventured out to the canyons, hoping to get in on the tuna action before it's all over. First we trolled around in the Spencer for a while, picking up my first longfin. After trolling around, a little after that, we found some mahi holding on a pot, so we worked that for a while and picked up some nice mahi around 5-10 pounds. We gave up on the mahi, and then ran to the Wilmington. Tile dropping was our first task, but we were trying some new spots, and we couldnt find the fish. With just one tile, we decided to troll for a little while longer. With no luck, we headed for home. I had lots of fun and I can't wait to get out there again. We're possibly looking at Sunday.

we had one of those birds sit on our outriggers for a few hours one day. by the way nice catch.
