So I got to use my new pole at the beach sunday

but on the first cast by the time i got past all the giant breaking waves and got tons of salt water in my reel, i got to cast between the huge waves. By the time i got back to shore i noticed that my bait had already beaten me. so i went back out got more salt in my reel and tried again. but i noticed that this time i was struggling more to get to shore. i could barely move my legs because the current was pulling me back so hard.

After that i went to the other side of the small island and fished by the boat docks. cast out and let my bait sit for about half an hour while i attempted to fish for baitfish under the mangroves. when i went to reel in and i got stuck. so for the first good cast i got out on my brand new pole and reel i got caught on the bottom and had to break off. so far my poles first experiences with me are not good at all. just caught bottom. had some snorkeling fun with my best friend though.

make sure you wash out the reel and rod with fresh water really well when you are done fishing, regardless if it gets wet while fishing.

i'm at school right now and the deputy just came in and searched me because they think i stole a phone out of his office. the girls mom came in and was freaking out on the assistant principle. i mean yelling and screaming like there was no tomorrow.
