    Jack Took Me Fishing Sunday

Hummm...Let's see...It's Sunday...What to do...I could work in the garage...sit on the couch and watch football...go into the office...or......

So my son says 'hey dad - let's go to the Chesapeake Bay'! Uh - duh - good idea boy.

Went down to the marina so Jack could burn through some bloodworms while I knocked out a couple of projects on the boat. Within 2 minutes of wetting a line Jack has a double header of perch. This continued for an hour before he decided he needed a sandwich with the crusts cut off.

After a lunch break and helping me down in the engine room he got back to fishing and continued to nail the perch and spots. He talked me into fishing a little with him (not that hard actually) but he definitely had a better touch than I that day. When it was all said and done he had bailed (and released) 49 perch and spots to my 12.

We never found that striper he wanted to catch but now we know were to get the bait for some live lining!!

Very nice! I love the catch - keep in a bucket - release

49 perch... wow. I have not caught that many fish in my whole life

(not counting the fish I caught on the beach using mosquito nets)
