I didn't get involved in saltwater fishing until i was 13 my dad took my sister and I out for a day of fluking and all I got was 2 short fluke and a short seabass but couldn't wait to go fishing again. My sister on the other hand got one keeper and almost won the pool and didn't really see the thrill of it but she does come out with use every now and then. I used to go hunting with my dad when I was younger and did a little ice fishing and never really cared for the fresh water fishing. I don't know what it was about that day fluking but after that I was hooked and became an addict. I can't get enough of it, love being out on the ocean the chance of seeing whales and other cool things you can't see anywhere else.
Killer whales I saw on my 1st tuna trip
Northern Right whales the rarest type in the world

I was deterined to get out there again and get my revenge!
I don't think we all realize how lucky we are that we get to do what we do. We see things that most people dream about seeing. Personally, I've caught many fish I thought I would never see, but that's why I do it. The thrill of the hookset and the adrenaline in the fight, it's the best feeling! I'm privileged to have seen and done eveything that I have. I've met some of the nicest people and some amazing fisherman!
