my favorite....

my favorite inshore fish would hands down be red drum because in the carolinas you cant help but to find them everywhere. Not to mention that on most tackle they are amazing fighters with some arial displays. Offshore my favorite is a tie between big mahi on 15lb test and bluefin tuna.

you've had a Drum go aerial? Strong fish and make multiple runs, but I've never had one jump after hooking him...and I've caught a few.

I have only had a couple come partially out of the water in a fight but fishin topwater for them they almost always stick their heads out of the water when they are in persuit of the plug.
