I live in New York and im only 13 and i havent gone fishing for marlins, sharks, mahi mahi or any other large game fish.

Inshore- Pompano in FL.
Offshore- Recently caught a 36in. blue fish and there good tasting, but stripe bass taste better.

Fighting blue fish i think is better then fighting stripe bass.
I caught a 36in blue fish and a 28in stripe bass. Blue fish jump a lot and there more dangerous because they have sharp teeth and have been known to attack individuals near schools of bluefish. Stripe bass are awsome but no teeth.

Just wait until you get hooked into a big striper! Bluefish may put on a good show, but big striper are so much fun; they take skill and patience and once you figure them out it's a lot of fun!
