I think Admin is going to let me have this space
It was worth a try ...
Hi Glenn,
"We are more than happy to recognize catches of note for both junior
anglers as well as adults. In the event a junior angler makes a nice catch and release, we would be happy to review the information and possibly run it in the newsletter of our International Angler. We are also happy to
provide anglers certificates for outstanding catches for a nominal fee.
IGFA until two years ago did not recognize many species that were open
to the adult anglers. A decision was made to have all species that were
available to an adult angler be opened to junior anglers and by making
this change had opened numerous categories for junior anglers to obtain.
It is infrequently that IGFA adds new species to the list of those
eligible for line class, tippet and junior anglers. When it is decided
that species are to be added, they are chosen based upon spatial
distribution, angler popularity as well as any federal or state
regulations on the species. I would be happy to add the tilefish to our
"wish" list for future consideration.
If you have any other comments or questions, please feel free to contact
me again."
I sent back another response but its not going anywhere
