    Thumbs up ASA Final Line-Up

Fished the ASA tournament this weekend! We caught 9 fish yesterday and the biggest was 21 pounds! Today we fished with Danny Archibald a.k.a."Jason". We fished the 60 ft. Slough and got a few 20-25 pounders and a 33 pounder that Danny caught! At the turn of the tides we moved to the "Secret Squirrel Spot" with the special bait from Chuck at Off the Hook (compliments of "Jake") We ended up with a 52.4 pound fish! We won 1st place and won a Mercury 200hp motor, and I won Junior Angler. Now daddy has to get me a boat to go with the motor! Mary will post pictures!

You guys look a little happy!

    Ann,

He has the fish iced down in the back of his truck and is most likely driving it up to him right today

He won't get my 38# striper mounted because he says I have to make it to the 50# club to get a mount. He said he might mount my sea bass though

    Ann,
Just think, if you do get that 50+ lb Bass you'll have broke your own world record again!
I'll stop by Mike's this morning to see if I can catch up with your dad & take a peek of that fish!

    Way to go!
Great meeting you and your Dad over at Off The Hook B &T Friday and it's nice that you are teaching him how to fish.

It was even better to see you at the weigh in...I had no doubt you'd be there. I just hoped my team would be holding a fish a little bigger than your team.
As it ended up, that 52.4 lb'r could have eaten our biggest at 24.9.
We did manage 5 nice fish Sunday, with 4 in the 20lb + range.

Congratulations on winning the JR Angler
    and
    Congratulations on 1st Place!

Now...if I can only track down that secret squirrel and MAKE HIM TALK!!!
