Anyone tie their own rigs?

i also fish for bluefish.
i am going to try something new this year with them, i am making some wire leaders. what lengths and types of clips/ swivels should i use on the ends?

any swivel would be fine. you could spend a little extra and get ball barring swivels or just get the regular one. are you catching small blues? or big ones? you really don't wire for small blues.

the blues that we catch are int he 10-12lb range

i am trying wire because i am tired of losing jigs in blitzs

what size flouro are you using.

its either 20 or 30lb. its expensive but i like using it.

yeah usually i do. i mainly just use flouro now unless i run out while i am fishing.

I started tying some of my own rigs out of just wanting to know how it was done and can tell you the feeling of catching fish on a rig that you made personaly is one of the best feelings you can have fishing. And when you catch your personal pest on your own rig it is all the sweeter.
