Great report and that is a HUGE thresher way to go. My trip was LONG AND COLD. When we pulled up to the spot and put the lights in there was TONS of life like ribbonfish needle fish and a pod of squid and an occasional bluefish or two. But unfortunatly we only had one blue shark under the lights at night but we did have a 300+ thresher JUMP 50 FEET AWAY FROM THE BOAT! That was great to see and in the morning capt. Dom of coastal charters wanted to try something. Trolling for sharks! Didnt work so good hahah. But my dad did catch a 175# blueshark so it wasnt completly being skunked out lol.
