With some of the best fishing just a few weeks away I want to let you know of a few diffrent trips that I will be offering this Fall.. some of the best Gag grouper fishing takes place during the fall months on the near shore ledges and live bottom. Most of the guys Jigging Grouper are making the longer run offshore targeting Red and Scamp grouper along with the rest of the bottom fish. To me theres nothing better than catching Gags in the fall and winter, there challenging and the hardest fighters of all the grouper as well as fishing them in shallow water 60 to 90 ft. Also, the Big Smoker King Mackeral are all over the beach and inshore reefs and wrecks chacing the large schools of bait. This is some of the best King Mackeral fishing on the East Coast during the fall months. Most guys slow troll live bait, but catching them on a Popper is Off the Hook!!! Watching a 30 to 50lb King sky on a popper is worth the trip alone...Just trying to add alittle variety to the program..I will start these combo Grouper/ King trips Sept 15 and run them until Nov 15th. I will still be running the Offshore Bottom Trips as well since they never get old and the fishing stays good all year for the most part.. The fall is pretty busy for us so if you plan on coming in from out of state book early and I will block off a couple days for you in case weather becomes an issue. Call me for more Info.. Capt. Ken
