This is a used mercury racing ITS extension box gimbal housing assembly. I bought three sets of these to rerig two cigarettes and only used two. I decided to keep my top gun with the original set up. I have this one one left which is missing some parts. This complete assembley was bought by a race team at a race for parts. They broke the bell housing, gimbal and ring on their race boat, and needed replacement parts. The only thing that was available was this complete assembly so they bought it and used those parts off of this assembly. So everything else on this is brand new. The parts they robbed were replaced with used parts that are in very good condition. There are a couple of peices that are missing and will need to be found to complete the assembly. They are the two pins that connect the steering rams to the gimbal ring, one hose to one of the steering cylinders,and the rear trim ram pin, bushings and mount plates. There are a couple of small nuts, and washers as well. They all can be found and purchased from mercruiserparts.com. If I have forgot some parts it is not on purpose, look at the pictures and verify. I dont want someone comming back and saying I dident tell them about a part they needed. It will need to be bolted back together. Forthe price I am starting this at this will be a steal even after you buy the parts that are needed to finush it. If you have a single engine boat and want to pick up instant speed this is for you. This also has the integrated hydrualic steering so if you were looking to go to external steering you can kill two birds with on stone with this box. I also have the inner transom plate which is included but not pictured. if you need the longer input shaft for the drive I have them for an extra cost. I paid over $4000.00 two years ago for this so with the down market now is your opertunity to pick it up cheap. My starting bid is much cheaper. These came on hp 500 efi, 525 efi, 575 sc, sc 600, and many other mercruiser, and mercury racing motors. Pre-Alpha to Alpha One Generation One Pump Upgrade This kit includes everything in the picture and should be all that is needed to upgrade from a pre-alpha to an Alpha One Generation One pump, if you have a floor mount pump. If you have an engine mounted pump you will need to convert to a floor mount with a base. Make sure you have room to mount this pump to the floor. The bases will be included at no extra charge apon request, in case your exsisting pump is motor mount and needs a floor mount. This upgrade comes with a new motor and if you would rather have new solenoids let me know and for $25 more 2 new solenoids will be installed for you. This will run the standard pre-alpha rams or the larger alpha rams. The wiring is the same for both your existing and the upgraded pump. With this setup you will be by-passing the reverse lock. (Problematic) Benefits are faster running, smoother operating, dual solenoids for safer operation. Tools needed are socket set, wrench set, pliers, screw driver and a piece of small rope or string. The how to is simple remove the old and install the replacements. Use the string/rope to pull your hydraulic lines through. A Mercruiser mechanic should be able to install in an hour, a backyard mechanic about 2 hours and the average individual 2 to 4 hours. Tech support is free.
