1977 Century 18 ft Pleasure / Fishing Boat With V-8 Vehicle Description This is a very fun multi purpose boat that I have used for about two years. For recreation it is a nice boat to just go out and cruise with, find a quite cove, anchor down, fold the seats out, or throw down a blanket on the bow and catch some rays. The boat is excellent for water skiing, wake boarding, or tubing. And has a top speed of about 55 mph (measured with gps) included is a High Five Stainless Steel Prop for the fun stuff. It also has a tall bimini top for shade that allows you to stand upright and a zipper opening that allows you to open the split window for access to the bow. Includes is the rope that lets you tow skiers. For emergencies it includes a Uniden Marine Band Radio, fire extinguisher, first aid kit, flares, air horn, the Yamaha trolling motor, two anchors, and about 300 ft of tie line. We were on a large lake that the weather could turn adverse in minutes, so we set the anchor system up to drop both anchors at angles to the bow and then back into the beach and run a line to tie off on land. This keeps large waves from swamp the boat from the rear. I also moved the oil pressure and water temp gauges to the rear so that I could see them while towing. This boat handles rough water very well due to its hull shape and power. For fishing I was in the process of setting this boat up for a commercial rental and will include: (All New) Two Walker Tournament Series Electric Downriggers, 3 Cabela's Rod Holders, 3 Cabela's Trolling Series Debth Master fishing rods, 3 Cabela's debth master reels with line and debth counters 2 AFI tournament rod racks, 2 trolling line weights and 2 walker line releases, a Humminbird 3_D wide angle fish finder and debth finder, and a MR Heater, portable Propane heater for those cold days. This is an older boat that purrs like a kitten and is a lot of fun.
