1988 Bertram 50' Vehicle Description Up for auction is my 1988 50' Bertram sport fish. I have way too much into this boat to list but this will give you the idea. I have owned it for 5 years & I've got the "bigger" bug & have an opportunity to grab a 54. I have been updating everything since I've owned it including a complete interior refit, rebuilt engines, new generators, updated electronics and so on. Detroit Diesel 8v92's. One rebuilt in 2005. Rebuild included cylinder sleeve kits/pistons/rods, heads, exhaust manifolds, etc... The second engine was rebuilt one year later (I had to spread out the expense a bit) & was also a major overhaul. I replaced one bad onan generator with a new Kohler 8 (or 8.5?) kw in '05 and the other generator which kept acting up was replaced with a Northern Lights 8 kw in '07. I don't know why the boat needs two but it's nice to know you have back up. Everything can be run off of just one. The entire interior was stripped and updated in 05/06. This was the admirals (wifes) demand in order for me to buy it. It cas corian counters, satin cherry cabinetry, two tv's. recessed lighting etc, etc.... On the bridge, I added a Garmin 2010c big screen gps plotter & kept the Northstar gps for back up. There are two Icom VHFs, Icom SSB, Furuno sonar, Furuno 72 mile radar,Furuno fish/depth finder, data marine speed log, Robertson auto pilot. I never figured out how to use the sonar but it comes down out of the bottom of the boat. There are three a/c units which have been updated to the cruisair SMXII system. The boat runs excellent and this Bertram can handle more than most people can take. It's a solid, rugged machine that gobbles up rough water without pounding. I have much more into this than what our new economy says it's worth. I have looked at all the 50' Bertram listings on the market and I truly believe that this is the best deal out there. There is obviously more to be discussed & many more pictures that you will need to see before you even come and see it. This add is just to get it out to the public. I am going to be listing it next week with a local broker who has showed me all of the recent transactions on these late '80s Bertrams & feels it is priced to move. If you are interested, I will point you to the broker who will handle the sale. I can be reached to tell you much more about it. You will love this boat as much as I do! 1968 Bertram 25 FlyBridge Vehicle Description COME AND GET IT!! Classic 1968 Bertram that I bought 8 months ago with the intentions of a complete restoration and decided that I am keeping my larger boat. Had new Larger Stainless fuel tank done along with new batteries& selector switch. I spent 2,000.00 with a Merc mechanic to discover that the starbord engine (Newly redone head +++) needs new rings on the back cylinder. The port engine has aproximatley 200 hours since major and runs great. I rebuilt both carbs, new wires, pointless ignition,plugs new electric fuel pumps, filters and high output coils. Both out drives are removed and tested with the port side receiving a new gimbal bearing and both are getting new bellows and seals. THE ENGINES ARE 1987 470's WITH newer 4" Heat exchangers (Not Small ones that are oem) with the alternator conversion done eliminating the stator system which was really bad. I also have new cushions and 2 sheets of white starboard to do seats under the cabin I will include. Have a bimini I will also include.. Has newer guages up top. Boat had black Imron done on the hull about three years ago but deffinatley need the topsides repainted. Cabin needs redone with new cushions. THE TRAILER IS NOT INCLUDED but will sell it for 2,500.00. I paid over 3,400.00 for it. Its 2009 with Kodiak disc brakes and is aluminum by ACE Trailers.

The boat is in great shape, this is not saying showroom new boat, this is saying after we put the custom decks in and livewells it's a world of fish! This has the beautiful advantage of a flat deck boat - lots of room to work on and run from side to side easily while the person on stop is your eyes and directs the activity of the work people do gathering and storing into livewells.-- This was our use. What's yours going to be? Taking this boat into the gulf is a lot of fun in good weather, However I can say that having been through bad weather at the top of a 12' tower on this skiff in 4-5' waves, there was no problem with a good captain Twin 4 inch pipe couplers are custom built livewell scoops flowing to each 55 gal livwell). This with â??out filterâ?? but no â??in filterâ?? is designed to capture your tropical fish -floating plants and whatever hides within and keep in tanks. The scoops are on/off in minutes and are fully optional. Engine is a â??97 200 Yamaha with less than 100 hours on re manufactured powerhead â?? 2 props: 1 for tow 1 for speed Full computer/gps 6 feet of rear deck is custom made work deck, 8 foot foredeck on skiff is custom made work deck. 148 total gal livewell gallons, 55gallons each side and center livewell is a 38 gal tall "This Boat was built for cruising the everglades, inland water ways and anywhere you want to put a 6" draft into. 1982 Bertam twin diesel flybridge fishing deep sea Vehicle Description 1982 Bertram Flybridge twin diesel 280 HP. This boat was submerged so it will need repaired, I do not know what condition the engines are in, but the boat is worth about 70K when it is in good condition. I am selling it for a fraction of that cost, more than likely the engines can be saved.

BERTRAM 28 FLYBRIDGE SOUND AWESOME PROJECT NO RESERVE ! Vehicle Description For auction we have a Bertram 28 Flybridge cruiser , a very popular model . To give you a little history behind her , she was being renovated by her previous owner who had done a fair amount of work however as you can see by the name " Mortgage Guy " he ran into financial trouble most likely to the decline in markets and the boat was subsequently liened by the marina for non payment of storage . We do have a free and clear Maryland title which will convey with the boat . The hull is in good condition as you can see from the pictures , below the waterline there are no blisters , the wheels/ props have been refurbished and the cutlass bearings look to be in good shape , shafts are straight . Above the waterline she still has a good shine and could perhaps use a wax that would be about it . On the starboard aft corner there has been a small gel coat repair approx 4 by 4 inches , if I were to surmise I would say from hitting a dock when backing in not structural and not very visible but we do try our best to disclose as much as possible . That is the only noticeable damage we detected on the hull besides obvious wear and tear from age . Up on deck she is in good condition , there do not appear to be any soft spots , the flybridge is solid as is the aft cockpit , I would say the aft cockpit area is in good original condition not having been painted and all the non slip is still visible . There is a bimini frame however the bimini is no longer on the boat , the original s/s ladder is still in place as well . There is a VHF radio up on the flybridge . These Bertrams are very well known for their large aft cockpit areas which making for awesome fishing boats , down below she is very spartan , there is a dinette to Starboard and a V birth up forward , on the Port side a galley area however the refrigerator has been removed . behind that is an enclosed stand up head . We are selling her as a project with NO RESERVE as she does need engine work . Both engines are Fresh Water Cooled ! The Starboard engine is complete and looks to have had work done , some new hoses , new starter , new carburettor and she does crank over , When I opened the Cap it was still full of antifreeze The Port engine also turns over and looks like it was being reassembled however the starter is also new but has been removed or should I perhaps say not reinstalled , The manifolds and risers have been removed and I think that is most likely why it was being put back together with new manifolds and risers , it also needs to have a new heat exchanger installed . There are no manifolds , risers or heat exchanger I believe the engines are 350,s if I have made a mistake I am sorry . The boat is ideally suited to someone who is handy with engines although with no reserve you could have it professionally reinstalled . I have a quote of $2500 to get both engines up and running properly . What you see in the pictures is what comes with the boat , however the upper helm seat is missing sorry . There is what appears to be a blue sunbrella flybridge cover in the boat . Now down to the numbers , these Bertrams generally sell between $20,000 and $40,000 , $70,000 in Europe , you can find rough versions from approx $13,500 locally however other than the engine issue and some cosmetics I would say she is structurally in good shape , It is a project and is being sold as such so please keep that in mind when bidding . This is a great Winter Project , we can help arrange delivery anywhere is the lower 48 states for approx $3 per mile , she can also remain where she is for approx $130 per month land storage .
