Boston Whaler 13 of Unknown year due to the hin in the forward locker being partially damaged. Checked with Boston Whaler and they cannot decipher the exact year. Comes as shown with Certified brand trailer. This was a local trade in and the old owner wanted to keep his Honda motor. He was an elderly man who loved fishing. The boat will clean fine. It has been brush painted inside and out with a paint that will blast off with a pressure washer. Selling as shown,without the steering wheel and engine. Mako 19 1978 Vehicle Description Vessel - Mako19, 19 Ft long, 1978, Center Console with Power Steering installed in 2008, New Battery, Live bait well, Depth/Fish Finder, Galvanized anchor, 2-3 Life Preservers, Throw Cushion, Vinyl seats have lost some stitching which can either be stitched or replaced, otherwise this vessel is in Very Good Condition Motor - Johnson 185, 1984, V6, Stainless Steel Prop, Motor needs TLC or upgrade Trailer - 2007 Instigator made specifically for the boat, Aluminum, Dual axle, Waterproof lighting, Guide Poles, Slide Glides, New Tires (4) and New Spare (Trailer has less than 3,000 miles and is in Excellent Condition) This Mako19 is an excellent boat. Last time I took the boat out, the motor was not holding idle, but this could be a simple cable problem (keep in mind that i am not a mechanic by any stretch). With an upgraded motor this boat would be good as new. Since the motor is 25 years old, it has naturally lost compression. My personal recommendation would be upgrading. The Johnson 185 does have trade-in value and, if needed, i know a boat dealer in Del Rio, TX (where the boat is currently located) with a selection of nice, newer motors who would be willing to finance the new/newer motor and installation. According to NADA Guides, the suggested list price of the vessel alone is $4095.00 (see link below) http://www.nadaguides.com/default.as...M&gc=MR&gtc=MR I paid $4000.00 for the trailer. It was built to the Mako19 specifications and rides beautifully. This values the boat/trailer at about $8,000 which i have discounted to $5995 to meet or compete with current market value. I do not know the motor value, therefore i did not add any value for it in the sale price. This boat has been in my family for many years. I pulled it away from my parent's home in Galveston, before Hurricane Ike wiped their home into the Gulf of Mexico. The boat has been in fresh water since that time (Lake Amistad/Devil's River). I am selling the boat because I have relocated to the Sacramento Mountains of SW New Mexico due to health reasons. I hate to see it go, but I have no use for it up here.
