Striped Bass are moving in! Large numbers in the rivers chasing hearing. Big schools off the beaches feeding on Mackerel. Sundays trip produced over 40 fish ranging from 26 inches to 36 inches. We are using live bait and chunks attracting the fish to the boat and catching our limit. read more about our Striped bass fishing adventures at www.massbayguides.com

Cod and Bottom Fishing Stellwagen bank - May

Posted 05-27-2009 at 09:53 AM by Captain Greg Sears
The bottom fishing has been great with limit catches most days. We have been averaging 100+ fish on a full day charter. The coolers have been going home full and the quality of the fillets is outstanding. you can read more about our cod and bottom fishing adventures at www.massbayguides.com

Tuna Fishing Report - May

Posted 05-27-2009 at 09:38 AM by Captain Greg Sears
The signs are there lots of bait and birds flocking. I have seen many dolphins working bait pods soon the tuna will be here. we have rung out the gear and are ready for the first fish of the season. Reports from down south indicate large amounts of Bluefin tuna in the 150 to 200 pound range. We are looking forward to a great season. We will post a report on our first tuna on our website www.massbayguides.com
