What planer for BFT?

I set up a couple of planer rods for the season for trolling East. Looking to find what planer to use and where to buy. CMS and Fishermans Outfitter do not carry them.

Any insight appreciated

The Hook Up, down in Orleans on the cape has them. Great store, it will have everything you need.

* Hey Iguana

Are you talking planer boards (like Great Lakes style?) or are you talking about dipsy diver planer (downrigger style)?

If planer boards- check out Big Jon

This might help

Thanks for all the info.

A little more from my side. Planer rods are 130 JB spectra line on old Penn 6/0s. Planning to troll rigged naturals (bally or mullet). If I go with Old Salty what is the best size?
