Assateague Surf 5/8

Last night I exercised my right as an American to enjoy our natural resources by DRIVING out on Assateague to fish. Got there at low tide and fished the beginning of the incomming. Had one awesome bite but my shock leader broke and I lost him, bad double-uni knot I guess...No more than 20 minutes later I had another huge hit and caught him, a nice 37inch Striper, both bites comming on a bunker head. Water was pretty dirty as the wind was a stiff SSW, but they didn't seem to mind. Surf should be good for another week or so, Get out there and kill something.

if your out on the sand, stop on by, we'll be about 1 mile south of the Bull-Pen...we'll have grills going, drinks, food, plenty of bait and a bonefire to warm up the night air
