Hatteras Catalina Classic KICK OFF PARTY
Prior to the tournament the rain god's frowned upon Avalon dumping several inches of rain over 3 to 4 hours flooding the town and creating several mud slides putting an initial damper on the festivities. However if you have been tracking the other tournaments then you should know that a little bit of rain cannot keep these anglers down.
Proof of their good spirits and reslove was seen on Sunday at high noon when Grant and Kathy opened up registration to a sea of eager anglers. Cold beers flowed, mojitos where crushed, lines where casted, golf balls were chipped and Berkley put anglers knots to the ulitmate test. This is the Classic at it best - anglers having fun, catching up, challenging each other off the water and dropping hay bails of cash with the hopes and dreams of cashing in on the 500k purse.
