Web cam link click here
Hope everyone is having a great weekend. Bunch of boats fished today so hope to have a good amount of sharks on the scale today. Also from a rumor I over heard there is over 35,000.$$$$$ on the line in this event. The odds of going home with a nice check is looking really good. Day 1 results Heaviest Mako: Tagg Team 205lbs 2nd Heaviest Mako: RustyDawg II 157lbs 3rd Heaviest Mako: F.Stop II 154lbs No thresher weighed Heaviest Bluefish: Miss Andrea 12.5 lbs Daily Mako for Day 1 was won by Tagg Team Daily Thresher will be carried over to Day 2 Daily Bluefish for Day 1 was won by Miss Andrea All in all we weighed 5 sharks from the 10 boats that went out today. ManniYunk II brought in a nice 128 mako and NautiDog (w/Proheat & Gradywhite) also brought in a 130 mako for the dinner table. The 130 mako was 14 year old Bradley's first mako! CONGRATULATIONS BRADLEY! The pics from the inlet break LadyAngler took Friday morning are on www.CapeMaySharkTournament.com. She'll post more of the Day 1weigh in pics today. Web cam link click here

Just got word from Gary Miller fishing with team Tag Team the boat who is in the lead with a 205 mako has been towing a huge thresher in for the last 3 hours and is 14 miles off towing it at 6 knots.
Stay tuned as no boats have come into the dock as of yet. Capt John |
