Sorry, couple pic's a little blurry but you get the idea.

Once you do it once or twice its easy..That screwdriver up the yang gives me chills!! I should have told you...I strted rigging the twisters without the plastic keeper. If you want to use it make sure it is on the stinger hook. IMO it doesnt leave enough gap if its put on after. Works a little better...I use the keepers on the shad though.

Dave, that pink head parachute has an 8/0 Jig Hook....You want to start that a little higher in the plastic to leave more of the jig hook exposed after it exits the twister
Thanks Chris, that's one of your chutes. I used bigger hooked chutes on my other ones. Ran out of them. I was rigging that to show you how I was doing it.
Is that why the stingers come like that?
I will be placing an order as soon as I get back from Chub!
Thanks for the tips

Take this one step further. The screw driver is the way to go, but do not breake the surface where the jighead hook comes out. On shad insert the screw driver to right behind the eye, you want to insert this hook first. Wet the eye end of the stinger hook and insert it into the bait. When you insert the hook on jig head make sure it passes threw the eye on the stinger hook while inside the bait. Sorry I dont Have any pictures but i could provide them if my explaination is not clear. This method is extremely clean and there is no way the eye on the stinger hook could fowl the barb on the front hook. It's important to dull the tip or flatten the tip of your small phillips screw driver as not to split the bait. Let me know what you think

I thought about that awhile ago. The only problem I see is with the solid colors, white etc. Can't see the eye of the stinger. It works great with the chartruese though. I know the chute has a small hook, all out of big chutes . All I have left are the ones I rig 6" shads with. I will re-rig when I get some more big ones. Looks clean allright

Good tip HP!! Another alternative to rigging them...Dave I guess you could mark the screwdriver where you want it to stop.

NICE JOB. ACTUALLY THE LARGER BAITS ARE EASIER BECAUSE THE EYES IN THE STINGER HOOKS ARE BIGGER AND EASIER TO HIT WHEN THE COLORS ARE NOT TRANSPARENT. JUST GIVE THEM A GOOD TUG TO MAKE SURE YOU CONNECTED. TOLMAZ GREAT SUBJECT AND THE PHOTOS A DEFINITE PLUS
