Stripers in the James River (Virginia)

I was invited to go fishing with a group of guys in the James River today. It was Dennis and myself on Micheal's boat with his two sons, James and John. All of them reside in Williamsburg Va. We left Jamestown Marina in Mike's 20 ft Bay Rider skiff around 1530 and fished for Striped Bass along a shoal off of Kingsmill. We caught a couple of schoolie stripers using stretch 18's. Tried some storms also but only the stretches on a slow troll produced. There were lots of terns picking off silversides so I tried to get a couple pics of them diving on the baits, easier said than done but I got a couple. It was beautiful flat and glassy afternoon with air and water temps around 60 degrees. We were back at the dock before dark. A great way to spend the late afternoon! Here are a couple of pictures.
