Well, the crew from Sportfishermen.com has managed to pry ourselves away from that south of the border paradise in Cabo but we haven't headed home yet as the show in Fort Lauderdale was calling. After a couple of seamless flights and a quick stop in customs we have made it to south Florida in one piece and are right onto the next gig as the boats and accessories are brought into town for this spectacular event.
We spent the day checking out the sights and getting the lay of the land before the show opens up tomorrow. Ii have the pleasure of going to quite a few boat shows from the northeast across county to the west coast and let me tell you, the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show is quite a sight to see. There are everything from center consoles to superyachts that break the 150-foot barrier. Also at the show is everything you could want to go with them from new motors and transmissions to helicopters and cars.
Here are a few photos from the show even before it officially opens, but it's just a tease as we'll be here all week bringing you what you've come to expect from Sportfishermen.com's event coverage, and even some new ways to bring you into the show through your computer screen.
We also have to thank Jersey Cape Yachts who have stepped up at the last minute to sponsor this coverage. Without them we couldn't be here bringing you the ins and outs of this great show. If you have a boat in the Jersey area, you should check them out for your winter storage needs. They have a great facility tucked away on the sheltered Mullica River to keep your baby safe through the winter. They also have an excellent crew and great reputation so they can do so much more than just store your boat, if you need some maintenance work they have you covered and they can do anything you need. They also are one of the best around at making custom modifications so from every angle they can take your boating experience to the next level. If you want to thank them for helping bring you this great coverage give them a call at 609-965-8650 or email them at service@jerseycapeyachts.com. Make sure they are your first call for anything your boat needs, they've got great specials for Sportfishermen.com members and provide excellent service regardless of who you are.

With that, here are some photos from the show. It's just a tease though since there will be plenty more to come this week.
