Nine Boats headed offshore today for a beautiful day of fishing! Several boats went north looking for Marlin! Others headed out in search of Tuna…all in all a great day!
Mathew Jackson and Tommy Hester from Henderson, NC were fishing on the Obsession today and earned citations for White Marlin releases. This was Mathew's first white marlin! They also had some a limit of dolphin including a few 20 pounders!
The Haphazard had a great day with a citation for Joe Brady releasing a White Marlin and Dave Brunner also received a citation for a 37# dolphin. They filled up with over 300 pounds of dolphin.
The Hog Wild had a nice limit of dolphin. Fishing on the Ya' Mamma, Joe Fiorett caught a citation size Wahoo, weighing in at 41 pounds. A Salt Weapon, Bi-Op-Sea and First Crack all had nice catches of Yellowfin Tuna and Blackfin Tuna, as well as a scattered Wahoo or Dolphin. The Sushi had a limit of tilefish.
