Amigos despite the passing storms the fishing has clearly been epic out there. We managed a half day yesterday with Scott Wolfe, of TV fame, whom has never ventured offshore in pursuit of grander. While the darkened skies, intermittent rains, and sloppy hurricane swell did little to brighten our spirits on the way out, the massive bait balls, foaming tunas, clouds of birds, and raging black marlin turned our questionable spirits to frothing madness in short order.
God i don't know how many more times i can say this…BUT I CAN'T GET ENOUGH OF THE HEARTSTOPPINGSCREAMINGMADNESS!!!!
Scott busted some ass out there yesterday, going 2 for 4 on black marlin up to 500#'s. Not bad for a half day. Tunas, dorado, sailfish, wahoo, and pargos are feeding rampantly, a veritable orgy of pelagic magic out there.
