Tommy Hester, from Henderson, VA, brought his family out for a day of fishing and the weather was perfect….very calm and sunny. We ran about 68 miles up north to a body of water looking for marlin and dolphin. We found a nice school of dolphin and the action was fast and furious. Chandler Stainbeck, age 7, on his first offshore fishing trip boated his limit of school dolphin, while Hope Hester boated a nice gaffer on a spinning rod, as well as more dolphin then everyone else! After that, we raised a double header of white marlin, and Matthew Jackson released his first marlin ever. We then raised a triple header white marlin, hooked two of them, but pulled the hook on one after 15 minutes, while Tommy captured his.
