Capt Tory O'Byrne ran his maiden voyage today aboard the LAM. The weather was border line and even under the VERY tough weather conditions he did great. Didn't catch hardly any fish, but everyone was told that it was going to be a tough day, and all coming off gave me the look, " should have listened". The LMAIII did manage to put a good trip together, they were anchored up well before the rough weather took hold, and happened to find the right spot, Haddock and Pollock. The Annie B had a transmission go, and limped back to the dock with Capt Nate at the wheel, good work by Nate. Luckily we now have on scene the new and second 6 passenger vessel, Lady Melanie Jeanne, owned and operated by our own Ralgh McDonald. So that vessel will fill in for the Annie B charters over the w/e. Looks like a great w/e and we still have a few spots on the marathon on Monday. The fishing was good all week, except aboard the LAM today, which no doubt was mostly due to the weather.
