10/1 Capt Richard fished with Josh, and Wren Foggle today and they targeted sheepshead. They boated 11 sheepshead and 1 sea bass. All fish were between 1-7 pounds.Capt Richard had a full day charter today and they boated around 20 sea trout, 12 redfish, and a flounder. 3 of the reds were small but the other 9 were in the 10 pound range.
I fished with Christine who has never caught a redfish until today. You could not ask for a better day to go fishing in Charleston, light wind with temps in the mid 70's. First stop produced a nice 2 and half pound trout, then as the tide started to fall it was redfish time. Christine wrestled 17 redfish away from the spartina grass and oyster shells. 14 of the fish were 1-3 pounds along with 3 bigger ones: 4.5, 6.5, and 8 pound fish. Had a great time fishing today.
