9/29 fished in the ICW today and even with the weekend crowds we had great luck. Boated 17 redfish with biggest at 11 pounds, 3 trout, and 2 flounder. Most fish were caught using live bait under corks.Capt Richard fished up river today with Josh, and the bite was on. They never left the first spot and in 4 hours they went 21 for 40 on redfish, with all fish between 6-12 pounds using finger mullet on the bottom.

I fished with the Merideth's today. They had fished with me before in the spring a couple of years ago. This time we had a new fishing buddy, their 1 and half year old Clint. He did great on the boat and was a trooper for almost 5 hours, even during the rain shower riding in. Bite slowed a little today and the bait stealers were in full force. Hit the trout spot and picked at the bait stealers and boated a few ladyfish. Tide started to fall so we hit the redfish hole and 3rd cast brett landed an 8 pound red after a 6 minute fight, we also boat another 2 pounder. Trying again on thursday for Christine's red.
