On the other side of the coin, we are about as operational and normal as ever. Fishing has been taking a turn more and more toward Redfish in the upper reaches of Hynes and Mission Bays with Trout fishing continuing spotty. Along with Redfish, we are seeing an unusual number of Blue Catfish (chicken of the bays and my most favored table fare). The Blue's have been coming both in terms of numbers and size ranging up to 25" and pushing 15Lbs. We are using a variety of baits and approaches. The Redfish are all mixed together in terms of size with a lot of 18 and 19" fish mixing with keepers from one end of the slot to the other.Come home when you can!
