Hanna passed through leaving only minor damge. The boats left Friday and returned Sunday. Today Boats that fished the Gulf Stream caught lots of dolphin. Most of the boats also caught yellowfin tuna. The yelowfins tended to be very good size. Many exceeded 70 pounds. A bigeye tuna was caught, it weihed 148 pounds.Two sailfish and a blue marlin were caught and released. Inshore boats did not fish. One open boat caught three cobias. Open boats also had some good flounder fishing, one had eight kepers out of fifteen. There has ben some very good puppy drum fishing during the last two days. This is the best season for puppy drum. There also has ben some very good speckled trout fishing.
