Captain Roger and Boston Rob had a Gulf Stream charter on the new Carolina Cat today with David Rice of Florance, Ky., Rusty Simpson of Kansas City, Kansas and the Neiswenders, Dave, Ryan and Matt of Topeka, Kansas. The group said the ocean was nice today with some slow rollers in the face of Hanna. The weather here today was beautiful.Matt caught the 19 lb. King, Rusty landed a 47 lb. Jack and Ryan had a 17 lb. Grouper. They also had several Snappers and Sea Bass Roger said the King hit on a ballyhoo, the Amber jack hit a pin fish and the grouper bit on a Boston mackerel. Captain Brant and Rube went Spanish fishing for a couple of hours this morning with Brant catching a Rodeo Leader Board Spanish. I'm embarrassed to admit, but I forgot to bring my note home, and I don't remember what it weighed. (That's bad when it's the boss's fish, there goes my employee of the month). In shore, Captain Kyle had a successful charter getting Reds, Trout and Grouper.

The National Hurricane Center has indicated that Hanna will miss us. In any event, if you have property, or boat concerns, call the OIFC and have them leave me a note with your information and I'll be more than happy to check on it for you. I'll be working Saturday morning until 2:00 pm
