This was the flatest day with 10 kph trades going to my next favorite buoy. The buoy was dead today, no birds no fish so we kept going to another buoy. Near this buoy we took a marlin hit that screamed out 300 yards of line jumping alot before it came off jumping, bummer. At the buoy we jigged and caught some real small aku, then we baited but got no hits. So we set up and trolled out side and we took an ono hit and Jace landed a 23 pound ono. Then we had a marlin grab the corner and scream out 300 yards jumping alot, this one settled down and Andy did a great job reeling it in to about 40 yards to go and it came off the hook, bummer. These guys did it all right that is just marlin fishing. Back in the harbor only Jace had an appetite for ono eyeballs, he ate both of them, look out Todai here they come. Good going guys.
