Fall water temp are starting to show up, the water is now 84 to 86 deg. and the Saltwater trout and redfish are on the hunt to bulk up for the winter months.  This past weekend (Aug. 28. 2008) we caught and released over 30 Trout and several Flounder.  The fish ranged between 3/4 lb to 2 lb on the Trout and up to 3lb on the Flounder.  We were not targeting the Reds, but they are also biting well. Bait shrimp are not hard to find with a cast net.  the water is clear but with the little blow that we are having this week it will muddy up.  This should only last a few days after the Hurricane passes, lets hope it passes.  Now is the time to fish as the days are starting to cool off and the fishing is great.  Hope to see you on the water.
