Hello everyone, well we returned from our Globe Motorsports Charter at approximately 7am this morning with a great catch of yellowfin. Our 1st place winner was Jim Labota of San Diego with a 92.4, and there was a tie for 2nd place Brandon Stevens of San Diego and Mike McFarland our Chartermaster of La Canada, both Anglers winding in with an 89.6. We would like to make mention of several other large yellowfin in contention but just slightly under the mark were: (not in order of size) Kenny Meliota 80.0, Buddy Stevens 82.2 and 83.6, Steve Chambless 93.6, Tom Pierson 85.2, and Honorable mention goes to Austin McReynolds a kite fish with a 89.6. Congratulations on a fine catch indeed!!!! With a quick turn-a-round and leaving the dock at 10:30am we headed to the bait dock to load up with some fine specimens of bait and headed due south to once again try our luck on some more samples of big tuna.
