Today is the first full day at Happys Tackle. The weather is, what the weather is. Like it or not. Paul, Zach, and Ray were in high spirits last night and I can't figure out why Grump says they're all miserable. They always seem happy when I'm there.
Penny Nebus stopped in with her personal best fluke. A very nice 25.5" 6.0lb flatty caught on a gulp while fishing with husband Ray. If you remember Penny had her personal best bass this spring @ 40lbs. Seems husband Ray has been very quiet this season. These two fish hard, Penny is just better. Sorry Ray.
I hear there is a storm coming this weekend. Supposed to drop 12 to 18 inches of snow. Better break out the snow shovels.
Almost time for the fall fishing to start anyone looking for a new custom, order soon you know how I love to rush to get things done.
The GRUMPYS should be on their first day of fishing sure hope Mrs Grump kicks some skinny Grump butt. Before I left Trini I paid the Capt to break all his fish off this trip. Pelicans excluded of course.
Got some new Wave Worms coming in this week. Should make a great eel and sand eel imitation. As soon as they come in I'll put them on the shelf. Grump doesn't know I ordered them so I can tell him they were there all along. He'll never know………………..Mike
