Capt. Chris reported today's Bass and Bluefish charter was a success with both species taken by anglers.Capt. Ray reported scup fishing was just fair today and customers had to cull through a lot of small fish for their keepers. Next scup trip sets sail tomorrow morning at 8am aboard the Admiral Frances.

Capt. Rich reported a great start to the 7am mixed bag fishing trip today when drift conditions were reasonable and anglers caught good numbers of scup to over 2 lbs and some decent sea bass then conditions became somewhat blustery. We went looking for some fluke afterwards and found a few but 16z was needed to hold bottom on the drift. Lou from Niantic was hi hook today with 3 nice fluke to 5lbs and took the pool honors. Some anglers filled upwards to a full five gallon pail of scup and keeper sea bass during the first hour and a half of the trip before the drift became really tough. Next 7am trip sets sail tomorrow morning aboard the Gail Frances.
