.Mel Cosner, owner of Barnacle Bill's Bait and Tackle, Chincoteague, VA, caught this citation flounder which weighed in at 9-8 lbs and 26.75 inches. He was fishing Blackfish Banks artifical reefs in 60ft of water, using finger mullet. Looking good, Mel. Oh! The fish looks good, too!!! ;)

Jimmy, Bob and Jane McConnell, of Easton, MD, fished the Washington Canyon this weekend and came back with this awesome wahoo, 57 1/2' long. Jimmy also had the citation Dolphin shown above weighing in at 47 lbs, caught using ballyhoo.

Bob Ruppel, Confluence, PA, had a nice catch of spades at one of the wrecks on August 30, 2008. He was using clams and fishing roughly 28' of water.

With the wind factors of the last week, even the "pro's" were finding it a challenge to get a flounder in the cooler. After fishing long and hard, all day, with Susie and Bobby Mannon, Chris Whiteman was the only angler to get this 19 1/2 inch keeper. He landed this flattie at Marker Red 20 using silversides and a bottom rig..
